Go with us to Cambodia to one of the wonders of the world. Visit with us the historical sites that also reflect the suffering and unimaginable atrocities in the past. During the reign of terror under Khmer leader Pol Pot, approximately two million people lost their lives in Cambodia. Visit the "Killing Field" and commemorate the victims. See culture and tradition up close. Experience the sunset at the lake on your journey to a "different world". After landing, we will pick you up directly at the airport then the journey by vehicle goes directly to Siem Riep, the spiritual and cultural city of Cambodia as well as the 7th wonder of the world.
On the way to Siem Riep we stop for lunch and order a mix of typical local dishes. After lunch we go directly to the center of Siem Reap. Upon arrival we check into our hotel room and start our sightseeing with Wat Thmie. We will visit with you an area that will make you guess many things and will affect you, the area where General Paul Pott had thousands of people executed and buried. Then you will visit the garden of the Royal Villa and Artisan D 'Angkor, where you can see the traditional Khmer techniques for stone and wood carving, lacquering and gilding. You will see the complete production from raw material to finished product. Afterwards, experience the Tonle Sap Tour with a boat ride on Tonle Sap Lake. The Floating Village with the old poor houses on the water is unique.
In June, a natural phenomenon unique in the world can be observed at Tonle Sap. Due to the monsoon rains and melt water from the Himalayas, the Mekong River carries up to four times more water during this time than during the dry months. Since Cambodia is partly a very flat and level country, the water from the Mekong pushes into the Tonle Sap River, and this then changes the direction of flow. The water masses enter the Tonle Sap basin and fill the lake. The peak of flooding occurs in September. During this time, about one third of Cambodia's agricultural land is flooded. Only in September the flow direction changes again. After this impressive day with a lot of information we go to dinner.
We will start the day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel and then visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom. The famous Baphuon was built in the 11th century in honor of the Hindu god Shiva and is a monumental temple mountain, it is one of the most important testimonies of the Angkor period history in Cambodia. The Terrace of Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King are another highlight. Afterwards, you will see the fabulous Ta Prohm Temple, ingrown and entwined by the roots of large fig trees and gigantic lianas. In the late afternoon, we visit the historic 12th century Angkor Wat, with its ruins. After the sun sets on Phnom Bakheng, we return to the hotel. Then we enjoy dinner with an Apsara Dance Show at the restaurant.
After breakfast we will visit the Chaa market, one of the oldest markets in this city is on the program. Here you can stock up on souvenirs such as typical silk, jewelry, T-shirt and other things that are offered here and we still have the opportunity to strengthen us with a Cambodian delicacy. After the visit of the market we will drive to the booked airport transfer where you can board your flight.

The decision is then up to the tour guide in charge in consultation with the person who contractually booked the tour. If the tour is continued in a different way, with other sights, the tour is considered to have been carried out.
